Pain that cannot wait
Abscess, swelling with fever or dental trauma are real emergencies. Start by calling your regular clinic, which usually has a duty protocol or refers to a colleague in the neighborhood.
After hours
At night and on holidays, the dentists' association duty point and hospital emergencies cover the acute cases. Save the number before you need it.
A knocked-out tooth
In trauma, time decides: keep the tooth in milk or saline without scrubbing the root and get immediate care. Half an hour marks the difference between saving it and losing it.
